What a stunning plant! That is how my conservatory in England used to look in early winter - plants weren't so nice but it was stuffed full.

Looks like you have a great tomato climate. Nice looking garden.
Since there is no Chimi champa here in the US(or are you?), I'm wondering what kind of lows they have experienced where you live, and how do they compare to others?

Yes they really do look beat up.This is the second time they were hit by the winds here where I live.Where I live near the moutains in a valley it gets very windy.They were looking great last month before california had the fires.We had some nasty Santa Ana winds blowing here with wind gust up to 100 mph and hot temps.I will be happy when they have new leafs on them.
