Dan, In truth i have no idea. To date i have had whitefly and greenfly which are relatively easy to deal with but thankfully no RSM. I do spray the leaves with water daily to humidify the pups and i believe RSM doesnt like that so maybe that's what is keeping them at bay ? |

How come yours does not have red spider mites chomping and sucking the life out of it like mine does? I want the E M for a special spot in the front of the house but I can't get past the pup-in-the-pot stage!!! Advise and help, please. Dan Rating: 10.00 |

Pretty sure, i got it from a specialist Nursery. That said the pups look remarkably like this; http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/47063/ So now you got me thinking. But the mature leaves are more like this http://www.banana-tree.com/Product_Detail~category~17~Product_ID~19018.cfm I have a Dwarf Cavandish pup so can compare the two up close later next season when it grows. If it is Cavandish then on the plus side i may get edible fruit :-) Thanks for the info. |
