Yes they are related to the bromiliads. They are know as air plants. what you do is stick them to (glue) pieces of wood etc and they grow. they require a lot of humidity and water. Also they like warm weather. thanks for the comments.

just because im clueless as to what this is...is it related to an air bromiliad or fern? it grows on the wood planks...or am i incorrect? its very nice btw, love the coolors.
