Thanks Ms. Kitty. I actually have 4 myself (and one coming through the mail of all places... ebay.... grrrrrr). I love those plants, along with any of the plants from the Bromeliaceae of Agavaceae family!!!! I have to stop buying so much until I FINALLY get my pond dug out and all of the grass removed so I HAVE a place to put them. 8-)

i know, my fingers work faster then my mind most of the time. LOL! spelling was never my strong point. lol. i have 7 of these but they are different kinds. i love them. if you want some you can get ahold of arachnid (brett) thats where i got mine, and they were not that expensive either.

I knew it!!!! 8-) I have one of the exact same species it appears, hanging outside on the 4x4 post for my hammock. I'll go take a picture and look up the species name later this evening if you don't know exactly which one yours is.
Oh, btw so you can correct it, bromeliad is spelled

Do you have a picture that isn't so close and/or larger in size? Hard to really tell what it looks like so close. From the other picture I thought it looked more like a Tillandsia (air plant). Looks pretty either way! 8-)
