Seedlings are very hard to tell the variety. You really need mature plants with a flower and/or fruit to tell the variety. This is a Black Balbisiana I just recieved from Mediahound. It won't get black til it matures. Next to it is my Red Iholene. Not much difference at this stage...

I love white BOP MsKitty! And you're looks like the center piece of that room. I have much smaller ones, but they when they put a leaf, the leaf to reach high in the sky lol. Even if it never flowered, the strong beautiful leaves are reason enough to have it.

They grow pretty well for me really.Last year the summer was crap so not a lot happened.They are both in pots not planted out. And come winter they will both be chopped in half to fit in my polytunnel.

I have not tried it outside as I dont want to chance losing it.
It is very slow to put out pups and when it does they are normally plain green.
