Thanks for the positive encouragement. Initially, I just wanted "something tall and spready" so we didn't have to stare at my neighbor's garage while we were enjoying the pool. Started reading about bananas and the different varieties, how to care for them, etc. We've had a lot of fun watching them grow. I've kept up with feeding them once a month for the past year.

If I were you, I would brace this one especially as it is fairly tall. I brace all of my taller plants as a matter of course once they start to flower as I don't want them to fall/blow over once the fruit gets heavy. Rating: 10.00
