Thanks for the kind words you guys!
I currently have the following variegated banana plants:
Variegated Namwah
Variegated Giant Indonesian (thought I was obtaining Variegated Silver Bluggoe)
Ae Ae
Siam Ruby (its certainly variegated, but not with white )
Zebrina (thats pushing it now, isn't it )
I hope to obtain more and I'm probably leaving something or another out of this list.

Not at all. I read that folks who have difficulty with them don't water them enough so I water mine just like all my tropicals.Lots of sun during the summer; keep it in my living room over the winter. It has a big caudex at the base so it looks like a large bonsai!
