I checked with my Thai friends, this is the Musa acuminta subsp siamea Yellow variegated. It seems to produce a good percentage from its seeds. Rating: 10.00

Hey Scot, I went back and dug up a pup of this clone. Just can't not having it as all the others I saw in bloom were very light in color. So far, I have been to 4 different sites of M violascens and this one's still the best lookin'.

Yo Scot, the M gracilis fruits are kinda normal looking except they are much smaller. When I go to a new M gracilis site, I will document the whole works for a new thread on M gracilis in the wild.
