I recognize that shadow on the left, lol!
BTW everyone, there are six plants in that container, they are awaiting being replanted. The bloom is something along the lines of a stress bloom, the plant is bare rooted at the moment and decided to bloom..

Those hands look familiar!
The inflorescence gets much bigger, this just gives you an idea of the brilliant blue color it gets. This plant is patented and was developed here in Florida.

Hi Chironex,

This is a Musa Bassjoo.

I did have a bit of problem with it yesterday. To start with I have been transferring it to a new jar every week just to prevent phenolic extrudes from harming the plant. It was looking very good after 3 weeks with very little damage from the phenolics extrudes. It was swelling up nice and green and starting to grow nicely. I put up a wall of aluminum foil on the back of my shelves to help with the lighting. It turned out that the light was too strong and bam in one day a large portion of it turned black. I transferred it once again to a new jar and put it in a dark section of my room hoping it recovers. I’ll have to use carbon next time. Keeping my fingers crossed.
