This pic reminded me of a discovery my Army buddy and I made somewhere in Phouc Lam province in South Viet Nam. In the middle of nowhere special, we found a big pepper bush right in the middle of a little used trail. Man, we ripped it apart and pockeded all the little red peppers. Didn't care what the name was like we do today, yuk, yuk. They were unbelievably hot. Used them to improve our C-rations and LRRP rations until they got too rotten. No one else in the platoon wanted to partake. Too bad for them. Never had a problem with irregularity during my time in country. Took my pills too - no malaria either. Dan Rating: 10.00
