I don't really remember but probably had that banana for at least a year. It lived much of it's life in a pot, first in my greenhouse during the cold winter and then in the ground. Unfortunately, last year was a cool year and this flower was much to late to mature properly and the entire mat died.

They ended up being tall namwah. Pink stems and the base was gorgeous pink.

Well, they had gotten real big about a year and half ago and some of them had fruited, but they were hit with a frost. I lost all the fruit. They have all come back now and are about 4 foot tall. Hopefully some fruit near the end of year. I think I'll be planting them in the ground. They need constant fertilizing in the pots.

I forget the exact ratio I mixed them at. It just takes a little experimentation to get it right.
