I don't really remember but probably had that banana for at least a year. It lived much of it's life in a pot, first in my greenhouse during the cold winter and then in the ground. Unfortunately, last year was a cool year and this flower was much to late to mature properly and the entire mat died. Sad

Well, they had gotten real big about a year and half ago and some of them had fruited, but they were hit with a frost. I lost all the fruit. They have all come back now and are about 4 foot tall. Hopefully some fruit near the end of year. I think I'll be planting them in the ground. They need constant fertilizing in the pots.

I forget the exact ratio I mixed them at. It just takes a little experimentation to get it right.
