Hi Bob, Got back with the guy I got the original pup from; they're definitely Blue Javas. A little added info : If you install a rhizome barrier, be sure to leave 1/2 inch above ground & watch, every few weeks, for runners trying to 'jump the fence'. If a runner does try to go over the barrier, simply cut it off. Michael James
