Marenmar, Yes, M. basjoo is most commonly associated with the Japanese word "basho" (but that word actually means little more than "Musa"). It is the yellow-flowered, cold-tolerant banana most popular in Europe. Did you check the size of your seeds? M. basjoo seeds are quite big! If they are about 8-100mm long and 4mm high, they almost certainly are M. basjoo! |

Are these suckers you took off of your plants, Brian? I'm inexperienced with pineapples but have four Sugar Loaf in pots and a couple of them have suckers (?) on them and I don't know if I should separate them now or not. You have a nice collection! Rating: 10.00 |
