Had the same problem with some of my tender leaves. I found that the cluprit on my plants was that garden slugs or snails were dining on the tender (un-opened) leaves during their nocturnal feeding cycles. Then when the leaves opened they looked identical to yours. I had erroneously thought that I was sun burning the unopenecd new leaf spikes; but catching the buggers in the act proved otherwise. |

Cool, you must be in a very tropical area. Here in the US, people actually pay for this lizard in the pet stores. Here, we call them Tokay Geckos - the bark at night like a small dog. |
