That look like a great project. What about drainage though? Maybe an emergency sump pump? I'm hoping to have the time to build something for my bananas before the fall here in Massachussetts. Maybe a lean to or enclosing the pergola that I have some plans for. Best of luck with your project. I know that the earth will provide a stable temp for the greenhouse.

Yes, I read that this year also. I didn't know that at first. After a blueberry plumps up and turns blue you need to wait two or three days for it to ripen. I waited over a week on some. They are not sour, they are ripe, its just that they do not taste like blueberries. Maybe I've lost my blueberry taste buds! I have some other varieties that taste like blueberries by varying degrees. I just bought that Miracle grow vegetable garden soil mix and planted them in raised beds. I know that they prefer acidic soil around 5.0-6.0. Its just strange. Maybe as a plant matures the berries flavor changes?
