Thanks Randy... I don't know what kind of bamboo it is the mature specimens we dug it from were no more than 15 ft tall and only about 1.5 in. diameter and all green, clumping more than running.


Pete, the baby is inside asleep in this picture... I just pulled my wife outside to take a picture of what my son and I accomplished planting :D ... and yes she recovered very well in 6 days, huh.

Hate to see this, Cathy. Glad it is not broken!!! I bet you will be able to rescue it. I had some damage from the same storm, but nothing like you have to deal with. I just have to cut a few things back/down and will be alright. Keep us posted to how it does and what you do to prop it!!!
