Hi CG, first off, you are in Fresno? Any luck w/ bananas there? Not sure if I can pull it off over here in Visalia. I did like the product it is just a little weak in the nutrients to be using for an all purpose plant food. Eleanor's is a clean/clear liquid plant food. It seems good for a foliate spray nutrient. Also good for deep water culture and other hydroponics setups. My plants grew good w/ it. My new plant food is better. Check my plant food thread for the details - http://www.bananas.org/f2/how-do-i-feed-banana-plants-8717.html

Thanks for the kind words, and yes the bougainvillea is growing good now after a near death experience this winter. I wish it could survive here but it has to come in as I have zone envy....I tried to ovwerwinter it in the sun room but it got in the 30's several times last year and most of the limbs died back to the main sterm. Luckly some growth came back in the spring

looks like your bougainvillea's trying to sneak into the shot there:) I have two that I just recently removed from their stakes and wired onto fence trellises.

I just layered a lil pea gravel on the bottom, then a 50/50 mix of top soil and potting soil, then more pea gravel. I had 2 of the 3 cuttings make it. I also dipped the cutting in root starter.
