I've been digging them up and potting them during the winter - some in a GH and the others in the garage under the halides. But they are all getting a bit large for that now. They weighed a ton last year. Not even sure I could dig it up this year bc of the weight.

what a beauty! i could not resist these beautiful plants one more day! picked up 2 1-gallon tropicanas at Home Depot last night. gorgeous foliage; such elegant looking blooms. i now am the happy grower of 4 cannas (2 bengal tigers, and 2 tropicanas). the foliage of both plants are impressive. all were a bit ragged coming from HD; nothing a little TCL can't take care of. they elevate my yard to a loftier height, aesthetically.

by any chance, do you also have the black tropicanna or the cleopatra? i'm looking forward to finding both in my garden centers here.
