Ante you see those spots on Grand Nain? I don't know what it is, but all my GN have such spots. Other bananas 30cm from them don't have it (Dajiao, Raja Puri, Dwarf Brazilian)? Genetical weakness to something? Or lack of something? Dunno.
GN has grown a half new leaf. Sweet.

Lolz, they are so damaged. And the worst part is that they are in precisely the same shape I sent them. Bad storm just the day before shipping.
Balana rulez, best pic so far.
I hope they will find a stable and happy place among other bananas in your big banana jungle! Hurá. :D

Tony, the first crop takes about 15 months in my garden to flower, ratoon crops are way faster. I have this plant in full blazing sun about 3/4 of day with black lava rock around the base. They say to provide some filtered shade but It seems to have acclimatized to that environment now as the leaves are not burning as much as they used to. I feed it tea just once a year made from EB Stone organic plant food and compost. The soil is still pretty fertile and loose from growing tomatoes there in the past. This second ratoon crop took about 7 months to flower and ripen and the size is almost as big as the first, although one the fruits is pretty small, about half the normal size.
