These are edible but not particularly palatable due to seeds. They're breeding stock.

Hi, I'm sorry to respond so late. I'm not strong enough to dig them out plus I don't know how to separate them properly & mail them. Not sure if they would survive the trip across the country. If you are ever down in the keys, let me know & you can come dig some up. They are very prolific!

I planted this plant in a tray with Musa Velutina seeds. and it grew but it looks nothing like the other Musa Velutina plants. The seeds I had that could of got mixed in are, Musa Sikkimensis, Musa Thomsonii, Musa Velutina, or Musa Sp. (Helens Hybrid).
One characteristic is, it has a red tint to it and the leaves are huge.
