Question Would it be safe to accept an offer of a plant on here?

Is it safe to accept an offer of a free, for trade or pay for a plant on here? Just curious. Thanks!

Yep....all good...check out the sell ratings of individual forum members and do a contact with them.

MOST forum members are good to go..

First you pm...them you talk .... then you trade personal information to show the other person your real....then you decide on a price....then you do the transaction...... wrap the banana real good to send it ...just like prostitution.....no firearms.....easy peasy.

YOU buying or you LOOKING....

Thanks for the info! Good to know. I just wanted to know in general principles. I had read so many times people either trading bananas or buying from someone here. I was unsure if it was safe. You know just b/c there are scammers out there in the world!

One more thing though. Does anyone here ever offer a free plant? I was already offered 2 I believe. Not sure if it was free though.

You can tell if they are a scammer because you can see their former posts (if any) and see what they wrote (rude vs helpful) see when they joined, ECT......

Ive traded, purchased, and been given plants by several members on here. Ive yet to have a bad experience, and all of them were/are great folks! Just remember that even a "free" plant requires time for packaging and mailing on the part of the "giver", as well as shipping costs. I am a firm believer that in a one sided transaction, such as someone giving you a plant, shipping it etc, that you should compensate that individual for their time, effort, and expenses. If trading plants, go the extra mile to package well, and pay for expedited shipping. The other party will likely do the same.
