Red face Work cut out for me on this project!

I can't believe it's been six years since I did the project on both sides of the driveway. The right side was supposed to be beachy, tropical and desert, while the left side was to become a jungle; bananas, a hand carved tiki, some torches and of course the mysterious concrete seal. Well, it got away from me, and the whole damn thing is a frigging jungle now; overgrown with redbuds and running blackberries. Here is 2015 when it began:

And here is what it looks like now! Time to cut that stuff out and expose everything that's been grown over.

It's bad, Folks! I have my work cut out for me on this one, but at least the offending redbud that seeded all of these was cut down in 2017. Wish me luck!

It's full of yuccas and windmill palms, cacti and bananas. They're buried so badly, you can't see them! So, I have to do it all by hand, one snip at a time, then dig out all of the roots with a mattock before putting the barrier down and filling in with whatever medium I decide to use; river rock most likely.
