Wild Fires..
The county next to us is on Fire.. My property line is the County Line.. It is nothing but pasture out here..We have a Volunteer Fire Dept.We went thru this last yr.. less than a mile from us everyone lost everything.. Thank God .. NO lives were lost.. The 50mph wind has just started to shift this way....We are fine so far.. But I know there are alot of people out there who are losing everything they've got.. I hope you will keep them in your prayers...

Thanks ya'll! My DH had to go into Ft. Worth.. we are in Millsap ( about 45 min W) .. He just heard that 3 other counties around us are in the same condition as we are and the Red Cross is out to help take care of the Fire Fighters....They say the wind should lay down around 6 or so but be up again in the morning..They hope to have some helo's out tomorrow...Due to the lack of rain we have been in a state of emergency for a few weeks now..

It's very windy here too. We've had gusts to 65 mph across Arkansas. Everyone be safe across the Mid-South.

Stay safe, Kylie! It has been very windy here in the Houston area as well. Luckily, no fires here. Hopefully you will get rain Thursday with that front that is supposed to come through.
