Does anyone else think NASCAR is a lot like professional wrestling? Maybe that's a girl thing but how the heck can some guy be in 4th place for winning overall when he hasn't won a single race this season and suddenly he does? (Yes, I know TG likes short tracks and Mr. Cocoa, who got me into watching pro bumper cars because he hogged the remote, predicted he would win--early on--but come on....)

BTW, I like it when the Cowboys beat the 'Skins. Anyone else? Who cares?

As long as JJ don't win the race all is good in the world of Nascar as far as I'm concerned.. I enjoyed no one taking his crap today and bumping him back.. :^)

Gee, I thought JJ was the flavor of the year but what do I know? I'm one of those PC types who know enough to discuss things around the "water cooler" but am by no means a fanatic.

I do have a thing for the Saints. It has something to do with my late mother being from NO but it's more than just that. Watching them win the SB was very special for me. I don't watch sports much but for some reason I just happen to catch games they play and win. Weird.

The local track here in town has figure 8 racing every week in spring and summer. It would be cool if NASCAR would try that. NASCAR lost me right around the the time the COT came out. The best days were when they had Chevys, Pontiacs, Buicks, Oldsmobiles, Fords, Dodge and Chryslers with their factory bodies and chrome wheels and bumpers! Then all the 'rules' set in, what a shame.
