Who's marking territory?
♂ ♠♣♥♦ ♪♫ ☺●○☻ First I think I must state this post may be offensive to some, take caution. My dog IS my best friend. I realize the thread title "Walking the Dog" was taken. A couple members here made it seem clear this is not so much offensive or inappropriate (none said bad idea), but more of just for laughs and giggles. Some may think this is a weird photo habit, but with my camera phone always in hand, some of these photos were unintentional (first photo is evident). I can't make him "go" on command...yet but I have given up training this behavior out of him. These photo express apart of nature that is purely natural. I don't/will Not let him go on anybodies vehicles or expensive stuff. V Walk to the park 4/27/2014 V He always sniffs before he goes! Sometime NOTHING comes out? I hope to keep up with this thread to show my dog as he ages. Was such a cute lil' pup. Age? IDK got him Augustish. 2009? Obscene photos are not cool but I welcome anyone to add a photo of your dogs doing #1 ! He is also great help in the garden. He doesn't dig holes or tear-up my plants. He helps fertilize and scares off any animals around. |

Re: Who's marking territory?
I've been marking my own territory for many years. Privately. No pictures. Won't be. Doing so sure didn't help keep the deer out of my gardens up north so I suspect it won't scare off the armadillos either but I like communing with nature so I'll probably keep it up until I croak.

Re: Who's marking territory?
Well your Dog does #1 & #2 @ the same time w/ his leg kicked up?
Its not every time or anything like that, but no longer out of the normal. I think Jack just makes wise use of his time, especially if its not his yard. :^) |

Re: Who's marking territory?
I agree with you Kat, I got a couple good spots picked out in my backyard, so the neighbors can't see me.
Why waste a couple gallons of water to flush? Abnshrek, I have never seen a dog do #1 And 2 at the same time! I'd freak and bust out laughing. Guess I might as well add this one. (Same day trees were planted) |

Re: Who's marking territory?
I see a black dog who seems to be obsessed with black mailboxes. I'm thinking he's confused..

Re: Who's marking territory?
I mark my own territory, particularly when I am out in the woods. I mark all around the perimeter of my campsite and so far, I haven't become a smorgasbord to any bears. I have never considered photographing myself doing it, however.
