Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
This is what we had for dinner Friday night on the Riverwalk:
this was mine - I ate on this plate of food for at least 15 minutes and didn't put a dent in it - I had quite the heavy "to go" box to take back to the motel. and this was Greg's dinner. ~JaNan

Looks scrum-diddly-umptuous! The Riverwalk is definitely a fun place to eat.

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
Alright darn it...since I didn't have too much Christmas food this season, on account of being too busy...does anyone have any shots that'll make me drool?
Janan, that looks delicious! Zac, didn't you say in another thread that you had a few pics of some goodies? So let's see 'em... : ) |

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
Wanted an excuse to eat a whole whack of mushrooms tonight. Not Portabello but very fresh and delicious nonetheless. I got them all cut up...
and put into penne in tomato sauce, with sausage, red onion, & red hot cherry peppers, with mozzarella...baked in the oven. It was delicious, my mom said! : ) |

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
Made a real quick meal, Tuna Fish and Rice. Mix 1 can tuna with 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup and a bunch of Velveeta pieces and heat with 1/2 soup can of 1/2 and 1/2 (not milk). Pour over hot rice. Quick, cheap and delicious!

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
I haven't had velveeta cheese since I was a kid!
Not sure what I'm having tonight, but it'll be something hot! It's fricken freezing outside! Thanks for sharing Howard and feel free to let us know what else you're cooking up in the future. You too Janan...you make some yummy stuff as well and I always like to know what you're having. : ) |

OK I have to play catch up I guess (especially since I am playing on the computer instead of getting something done).

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
I must say Janan, those dishes look absolutely delicious!
Boy am I hungry...again. The first time I looked at these shots I drooled. Now I'm salivating again! Wishing we were neighbors so I could knock on your door often...at dinnertime! Still haven't decided what to make yet...back and forth on a few ideas... : ) |

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
No please, anything but turkey again!!!
Added some banana hot pepper rings later. It was surprisingly tasty. I made the cheese sauce with old cheddar cheese, a dollop of cheese whiz, milk, and sour cream. : ) |

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
That looks so good! Here's what I threw together tonight:
Tomato cabbage soup with toasted whole wheat and co-jack cheese sandwich. Surprisingly very filling and it was good! ~J

Yeah, I had a lot of cabbage left over. I still have to add it to something twice more and it will be gone. Any ideas for me? ~J

Re: What'cha havin' for dinner ???
I like cabbage best plain, with hot butter melted on top, seasoned with salt and pepper, & a dash of white vinegar.
You could also make some quick cabbage rolls Janan...and stuff them with any number of things, then cover them with your tomato dish you've shown and bake briefly in the oven. Cabbage pieces in rice are good too. : ) |
