What are you most thankful for?
For me, it's my Gods grace. No matter how much I mess up, no matter how poor a steward I am.....God still blesses me.
Happy Thanksgiving! Last edited by Lagniappe : 11-27-2008 at 11:35 AM. |

Re: What are you most thankful for?
I'm thankful that my family is understanding enough to deal with the fact that we don't do the family get together on this day, we spend our day here in this beautiful place with our dogs having a picnic complete with champagne being thankful for all things life has brought our way.

Re: What are you most thankful for?
I'm thankful for the gift of life, God's love and forgiveness, the grace He's given me to understand and love Him better, my family, and decent health. Oh, which one I'm most thankful for.... is the gift of life. If I had not received that gift, I would not have experienced the others.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Harvey |

Re: What are you most thankful for?
I'm thankful for life, for God's grace and forgiveness, and for a family that loves and understands me. I'm also thankful that I live indoors, when so many can't, and that I have food, when so many don't. I'll be spending today giving oranges to people less fortunate and taking the street children for lunch/dinner.
I'm also thankful for the gift of wonder, which means that every day I see something that steals my breath, stops my heart, and brings a tear to my eye. |

Re: What are you most thankful for?
Big time congratulations, Jarred. My first bit of advice: ignore the advice everyone will be giving you. I think they're usually making it up. You'll be so tired the first year that you'll have a hard time remembering what was real and what was just a dream (or nightmare!).

Re: What are you most thankful for?
I'm so thankful to God for so many things, including a second chance to go back to school and get my education! I'm thankful that my mother and father are still married after 43 years, when so many marriages end in divorce these days (including mine!). I'm just thankful for every new day that I wake up and am still alive.
Frank P.S. Congrats, Jarred! |

My wife and I say thank you so much everyone for the kind words, words of wisdom, and all other gestures in our direction!
We're very happy as well as thankful for this magical little blue planet we all call home. Thanks again, and the nice thoughts mean a lot to us!

Re: What are you most thankful for?
Guess, I have to put me two bit in...here goes...
I am indeed very Thankful to God for my family standing by me all the time and especially during my recent financial tsunami. For God keeping me sane by giving me a passion for plants to keep my mind off all the negative things. Life, health and happiness. Finally and seriously for banana.org for giving me the inspiration to start Ladang Musaceae, an eco-banana park!! Kudos to Jarred for his hard work and Congrats again (can't help it Jarred cos it's a big thing!) |

Re: What are you most thankful for?
I thank G-d for the blessing of good health of my family. Nothing else even comes close, but of course I adore the boundless variety of nature, and the peaceful democratic transfer of power we in the States are experiencing at this time.
