I smiled today when I woke up and saw it was sunny and not raining like usual. Hope tomorrow is the same...

Oh and I smiled yesterday when I was eating a chicken drumstick and my bird Henry landed on the end of it to take a bite! I had friends over for dinner and we all burst out laughing.

What made me smile today? The email:

THE STORM

They were together in the House.

Just the two of them.

It was a cold, dark, stormy night. The storm had come quickly and each time the thunder boomed he watched her jump. She looked across the room and admired his strong appearance... and wished that he would take her in his arms, comfort her and protect her from the storm...

Suddenly, with a pop, the power went out.... She screamed...

He raced to the sofa where she was cowering. He didn't hesitate to pull her into his arms. He knew this was a forbidden union and expected her to pull back.

He was surprised when she didn't resist but instead clung to him.

The storm raged on...

They knew it was wrong... Their families would never understand... So consumed were they in their FEAR that they heard no opening of doors...

just the faint click of a camera......

LOL @ Blake09s story and picture!

I found out how to kill tiny bugs that ate my pepper plants and thats with soap and cooking oil and water to spray on them! =] I have to watch for catepilers too cuz one ate 4 of my peppers. I can grow peppers now and they wont die. =D

I bought my Basjoo banana plant back for only five dollars cuz that guy i traded for pepper seeds didnt know how to grow it and the leafs were dying. i was worried it could have corm rot and i took it out of the pot and checked it but there are no soft spots and not on the stems too!
Oh an i found out what those tiny bugs are and there mites. im going to spray all my plants with a soap and oil recipee i found at eHow and kill all the mites. =D

Im a Shepherd now with my Super Poke Pet and I get to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 2! =D thats cool too cuz i didnt like that Voldemort had the sword of Gryffindor and the Elder wand and Harry only had a dead elf when the last movie stopped! thats a ton of stuff they have to fix in the new movie.

I smiled cuz dad said i can get a pet tarantula! =D i want the Mexican Red Knee tarantula it looks way kewl and im getting 1,000 crickets so i can feed it.

I was sitting with Mom by the pond this AM. She was sleeping, said she had a rough night tossing and turning, and as she has a bad shoulder every toss and turn is quite painful. I noted that I had a new bloom on my Chromatella yellow lily, at the same time as my Ultra Violet was in bloom. I was excited about this- the beauty of the 2 blooms so close together. I looked at Mom and realized that sometime she won't be next to me so we can share our love of gardening. She awoke at that moment, and exclaimed on seeing the 2 water lily blooms. I had a smile a mile across. Love yours when you've got 'em, folks.
