The shuttle transport platform gets about 8 gallons a mile! If memory working right.

The German earth mover seems like an odd choice for the job. The Hitachi EX8000 is more efficient and only requires one operator (vs. 10). Check out the 40 cu. m. (52 cubic yard) scoop!
