Congrats, Ron. Is that a rooted cutting or a small grafted tree? Do you plan to leave the fruit on if it sets? IMO, I'd probably remove the fruit due to stress on such a small tree but enjoy the flowers while you have them!

Citrus has a good way of self thinning so it will do what it needs to do. Most likely you will see a small fruit then it will drop that. Like you said though the fun is just seeing what will happen.
I am sure you already know that you can't move this plant around certain parts of California and not out of state. Moving any parts of citrus can be illegal. Always good to ask your Extension agent because of the Greening disease spread.
