Default Tiki Hut Lighting project

I decided that I needed to add something different and cool to the Tiki so I added some really nice lighting. Its incredible what the new LED lights can do.
I also wanted to thank LilRaverBoi for pointing Me in the right direction on where to get some LED's.

Suh-weet! Looks like a really cool/unique effect! Glad the resources helped out and that your tiki is now LED-ified!

Plenty of light under there now

.....they change color and are sound activated also. The are made by Chauvet(colorstrip).
You have a nice set up there.I used to have the regular xmas lights also wrapped around the poles and inner poles also,it did its job.

Ah, Chauvet - I have heard that name before
I think some people use their equipment for Christmas decorations
I may add some green rope light wrapped around the poles
But my poles are mosly covered by the screenhouse
I do have a fake palm tree -rope outline- that is going out there

What is the object in the corner above the light ?
Is that part of the lighting too ?

That's one awesome setup! And at the start of summer too. All it needs now is some hot tunes. I've been getting ideas and links for lighting my room from LilRaverboi. He definitely knows lighting!

We can't do palms here either. If I ever build one, I'll just use elephant grass. It might not look as authentic [I don't know] but it would work.

This is a great place to start if you want to do a project on your own.I have seen many people build one themselves.
The Miccosukee Indian tribe has the reserved rights to the palm thatch and the cypress wood down here.
I was able to find someone that had access to them and have them build it.

I'm digging out more loghting that I have had stashed away
Decorating more of the pool area
--27' of blue rope light along the bar & stairs to the warm tub
About 30' of "chili pepper" mini lights along my jalousie windows & then the railing of the warm tub

I have 2 rope light palm trees that are going out.....maybe a 3rd one
Then I have another 144' of multi-colored LED rope light that I will oput line different areas
And there is 54' of blue & white rope light along the pool fence

It's getting there

Still working on it, spent most of the day in the pool
I wire dup a switch under the bar & I'm going to run some extension cords/outlets extensions so I can turn everything on & off from there
