I tried to go out and watch the shuttle launch "live" down here in Boca Raton, FL but couldn't see any flame/contrails this time.

We saw just a bit of the takeoff here in J'ville. It came out of the clouds as a bright fireball and dropped the fuel tanks. Then it went behind the clouds and was gone.
