Exclamation Something to think about #2 Something you ALL should watch!!!!!

After reading Ms. Kittys thread, I thought I should post this. If any of you get the National Geo. Channel (HD or not HD) you should check out this show!!!!! Aftermath: Population Zero It's the hypothesized view of what would happen to the world if suddenly all humans just ceased to exist. It was such an amazing show, I had to watch it twice. it airs again on March 20th 6PM EST. I was about to cancel my cabel TV (as I don't watch it, usually watch DVD's) and I had to stop myself for just a little while longer!!! Here is the symnosis from National Geographic Channel TV Schedule - Aftermath: Aftermath: Population Zero [TV-PG Ratings N/A]

"What would happen if every single person on Earth simply disappeared? Gone. Not dead, just gone. This is the astounding story of a world we will never see. A world without people, where city streets are still populated by cars, but without drivers. Nobody to fix bridges, repair buildings or maintain power plants. After being controlled by humanity for millennia, nature reclaims the earth. But how would that work? How long would skyscrapers, nuclear power plants, and our homes last if abandoned? How would wild and domestic animals fare without us? Will the Eiffel Tower outlast the Statue of Liberty? Aftermath: Population Zero gives us a chance to see the impact of human beings by seeing how Earth would adapt without us. "

Ya know, I wouldn't mind being the only human (or in a very select group of humans) left around to witness these kinds of changes!!!

I saw this! It certainly catches your imagination. The part of the domestic dogs was sad and Hoover Dam was so cool! I'm glad to know when it's coming on again.

Definitely Tivo it as it is an awsome show and well worth watching. I just might purchase the DVD myself to show friends and family and maybe they'll be a little more earth conscious as well!
