I think that Ante feels more secure and free up on the poles than on the ground. It's like the second home for linemen.

If you do find bananas up there, please LMK. We have plenty of poles here and they never get corm rot! Thanks much for sharing!
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago, at near sunset. I love thunderstorms, even severe ones. They're so exciting!

I love summer rains too. Don't know how people in Mediterranean climate can live without that.

Oh yeah, and the best summer storms are comfortable and warm, unlike those in srping and autumn. It's literally enjoyable to just stand out and enjoy the water drops falling on your skin. I can't really imagine a good way to catch that in the picture.

The above sky scenes prompt me to recycle the following. Ante, those beach shots are great!

That's why I almost never photograph people. But you are definitely lucky. The weather channel says that most of our rain comes from the gulf stream [the Gulf of Mexico]. I don't think I want to stand out in that rain.

I was thinking the same thing! And it also cracks me up that that is a 'small' leaf (then again, I'm aware of the mature size, so it totally makes sense).
