Scottish Highland Gathering and Games
The gathering at the Alameda County Fairgrounds last weekend was great. Good people, good food, and the Heavy Athletic events were exciting to watch. Saw a professional clear a height of 20 feet with a 56-lb stone in the Weight For Height competition. Then those guys throwing logs (cabers) -- man that's some serious stuff.
Next year will be the 150th gathering ...
