Re: questions for usa forum members
At least in Florida, there's plenty of rural areas. The town I live in has two traffic lights, and it only has two because we had budget overage and the town next to us only had one so we put in a second one so we're better.
I commute through farms(the potato capital of Florida, no kidding!) that are acres of crops. I regularly have to wait to pass a slow moving tractor that's twice as tall as my pickup truck. The population in Florida depends on where in Florida you stop. Some areas are blue, some red. If you land in a college town, that's the kind of people you get. People are people are people. No matter where they live, it's all still just people. |

Personally, I am attracted to people from the far lands who have no roots here. I assume there must be interesting circumstances for them to end up in Omaha, and those can be good drinking stories. (Plus, we need more weirdos up here and I am more than eager to cultivate a population in line with my oddness)

Re: questions for usa forum members
As a brown skinned gay person, there are many areas in the US I would not consider visiting, let alone live in. That's more important than what I can grow. Every place has it's pockets of difference and acceptable norms, of course, as wolfyhound pointed out.
