Are you still getting buds/flowers ?

Re: passion flower / fruit

No. It had 4 buds and only one developed a fruit. And it is a bit light in my opinion :(

My Frederick only has one fruit on it so far but I'm hoping for more. I had 5 flowers open on Friday, 20 on Saturday, and 7 today. I tried to help pollinate with a Q-tip yesterday and today.

Great news, Harv! How are you feeling now? Moving any better?

Thanks, Howard. Not doing great, waiting to have MRIs of my shoulder and knee. I over-exerted myself or something last Thursday and felt like I was going to die for a day and a half, to be honest. Feeling better now but heavily reliant upon hydrocodone to manage my shoulder pain.

I need to take an updated photo of my plant that was planted on July 1. I knew the thing would grow like a weed but I'm still amazed by how much it's grown.

Tony is relentless with his criticism of my lack of photos, even though he knows every well I've been working hard in the salt mines (chestnuts, etc.) while crippled. After I was done shipping yesterday I went out and took an updated photo of my Frederick (whcih today had another 6 flowers).

Here's a picture from July 28th:

Soon it may take over m walnut tree! :D

I could build a high arbor across my driveway but with my recent ladder experience I prefer to keep things within reach from the ground.

No problem Frederick's fruit will drop from the vine when ripe no need to get on a ladder:ha:

I think I just need to find another area to plant a few of these and grow them as a crop. I've got a ready buyer, as you know. Maybe I could grow a few on some concrete reinforcement wire in a strip about 100' long. I could do that along one of my drain ditches or roadways.
