Sorry, but I couldn't resist!

I live in a rural area and am very lucky I even have DSL as a choice. They had to run about 10 miles of line just to pick up 24 customers so I think it will be on the 100 year pay-back plan. As a back-up, I tether my notebook to my cell phone and it works quite well. A friend and I were driving back from Mitchel's house late one night last December on our way to NorCal and we were bored so I had my friend fire things up and we did a video chat with a mutual friend in Israel when we were about half ways home at 1am. Great way to break up a six hour drive! :)

Ha-ha Thanks Harvey for the joke. And thanks Jarred, and yes I missed this forum so much.
But I got my internet back for good. With a new provider. Was not so happy with the old one. Charging me just way too much for cable, phone, and internet once the promo was up.

Hi Benny, welcome back!! I know what its like not being happy with ISP... mine was out here today, they need to run new lines for me... bleh..

Haha!! you guys cannot believe how it is here in the caribbean - don't worry, be happy!! Power, internet, phone - hey, we are happy if we have one out of three at any one time!! But then - we knew that - don't worry, be happy!! Voicemail takes 3 days to get through and manana means either tomorrow or never (but we don't like to tell you!)

Me and my big mouth - the power went off as the heavens opened - torrential rain and the invertor kept me in for a change!! Probably no tv so time for bed!
