Junipero Serra Feast Day
Here in Vista CA there are a lot of hard working hispanic residents. Today (a Tuesday) I noticed a large number of barbeques taking place for family and relatives. I enquired of my neighbors and learned it is Junipero Serra Feast Day, both a Catholic and Mexican tradition. The activity in and around my neighborhood is low-key with some of the best smelling roasts I've caught a whiff of in a long time.
