If you ever been tempted JUST SAY NO to Lawnmower Violence!!!!!!!
MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee man was accused of shooting his lawn mower because it wouldn't start.
Keith Walendowski, 56, was charged with felony possession of a short-barreled shotgun or rifle and misdemeanor disorderly conduct while armed. According to the criminal complaint, Walendowski said he was angry because his Lawn Boy wouldn't start Wednesday morning. "I can do that, it's my lawn mower and my yard so I can shoot it if I want," he told police. A woman who lives at Walendowski's house reported the incident. She said he was intoxicated. Walendowski could face up to an $11,000 fine and six years and three months in prison if convicted. A call to Walendowski's home went unanswered Friday morning.

Re: If you ever been tempted JUST SAY NO to Lawnmower Violence!!!!!!!
Darwin is about as tropical as it gets in AUstralia- 12 degrees south of the equator, distinct wet and dry seasons and the season they call the build up - when temperatures rise, humidity stays in the high 90s, everything is still - just waiting for the wet season to start. The build up is also called the mango madness season - mangoes get ripe and people go crazy.
In 1987 or 88 a bloke shot his neighbours' mower and then shot the neighbour - the mower had started early and the murderer had woken up with a hangover and a serious case of mango madness. can't find a link to the story - very old news.... but trust me it did happen, I remember reaading the paper with the story in it.....

Re: If you ever been tempted JUST SAY NO to Lawnmower Violence!!!!!!!
That's insane. Why can't everyone be cool? Take good care of their dogs/cats/pets! And avert their attentions to growing bananas!... The world would be a much better place.

Re: If you ever been tempted JUST SAY NO to Lawnmower Violence!!!!!!!
You ARE a lucky man! First it looked good then some brown then some weeds. So now I have some nice grass, brown grass, no grass, and weeds. I LOVE guinea pigs. I had one when i was young, such affectionate little things or their little squeaks sure make them seem to be
