Goin to Ocean City in July
Heading down to Maryland via the O.C. in july, can anyone point me in the right direction for local botanical interests or tropical markets or just anything that might be interesting (plant or otherwise)? I am a virgin to Ocean City so I need someone to be gentle.......

Re: Goin to Ocean City in July
If you stop along the Delaware Beaches (Route 1) there are a few nurseries that sell exotic plants but they are high priced.
Bethany Beach Gardens (bbgardens.net) has many tropical like plants at good prices. You'll probably pass by at least 3 other garden centers just driving off Route 1 that should have a few things. As for Ocean City, I have no clue. I never go there even though its 20 miles away.

Re: Goin to Ocean City in July
Wish I could help, but my trips to OC back in the day seem to still be in an alcohol haze. Back then cruising for plants was definitely NOT on my agenda. Good luck.

Re: Goin to Ocean City in July
Thanks for the info John, I'll def have to swing up your way while I'm there and check out some scenery.
Howard, don't feel bad, if this trip was happening without my kids I would be that way.....memories of St. Thomas come flowing back, or what I can remember since rum punch was all I drank while there. |
