Default Giant fly/bee/hornet found in Mexican Jungle

Here's a not so little guy that I found while taking some palm pics in a jungle in Nayarit MX. He had some seriously huge fang, and wouldn't want to meet even a couple of them, much less a swarm. I wear large gloves, so my hands should give some scale to the size of the little bugger.

He's giving the evil eye in this shot.

Here shows a little more shine that he's got. I've always liked weird bugs!
