Re: Get Well mskitty38583
Get better soon. And I'd like to borrow the cattle prod when you're done with it. I still have 4 bales of straw to distribute, and just got back from a week in Southern California. My cavs got burnt, as did the sikkim, but the lasiocarpus and basjoo are still going strong!

Re: Get Well mskitty38583
Sam, hope you are feeling better. But let this be a lesson to you. Better to keep your eyes on the road at all times. This is what happens when you're rubbernecking for bananas! Hope you get well soon!

Re: Get Well mskitty38583
Sam, just saw this and am sorry to hear of your accident but am glad to hear you are getting back into the action. My most serious car accident really limited me for several months and I know how frustrating that can be. I hope this will be a special Thanksgiving for you!

Sam, my thoughts are with you daily. I'm building a little door so that when you're up to coming over you can go under the fence.

Re: Get Well mskitty38583
im really thankful for all your thoughts, im back, but in slow motion. the first thing i want to do is get out in my yard and dig some dirt!!!!! ive been very lucky ive had only 5 nanas die since that accident( these were all in the house.. my children were not happy to hear that the nanas expired....i blamed it ALL on them. so maybe this spring ill be in the market for some ummmm new nanas.) hopefully the ones that were mulched outside( thanks to the uses of the cattle prod.....maybe i should have used the shock collar....LOL!) will be alright. i wont know that till spring. may everyones nanas live through this crazy weather.

Re: Get Well mskitty38583
i appreciate the offers you guys are great! right now im trying to keep the ones i have in the den up and running. ive had to move some of the nanas and tropicals out into the livingroom, things were getting tight in the den. i have 13 in the den and about 10 in the living room. i found the seeds that a few of the members here have graciously send me this post season for different things and plan to get right into the dirt tomorrow. my cats havent seemed to bother any of my nanas or tropicals as of yet....but i do keep the water spray bottle handy( along with the cattle prod..ha ha). and i have already had a bout with spider mites....dawn dishsoap in the spray bottle works great! thanks again for the kind thoughts and your very generous offers. sam
