Default Garden Decorations

We all must love the tropical look since we're growing bananas. What I'd like to see are your garden decorations such as tiki huts, wooden parrots or even pink flamingos. I really want to spice up my outdoor decor. Thanks!

i really love that tree nate. as for garden decor, i have little gnomes in one flowerbed. they are 2 inches high, and a toad house. i have a gazing ball holder that looks victorian and the pots to match it. a sheppards hook with japanese lanterns, dont know what im gonna do with that once i get my nanas planted outside. there is a 5 foot. gargoyle (made out of concrete) that i have been wanting forever. i would love to sit him in a corner with my nana trees. and i want some pink flamingos! so if anyone knows where i can get some lmk. if not ill have to wait till springbreak when i go to fl.

i dont have a birdbath...love to have one.the only problem is the outside cats would think its a moveable buffet. i wish they had one that would kind of hang from a tree limb like a hummer feeder.

Here's how some of the decorations look on a bright February morning in San Diego (75 deg-F at 10am):

A whirly-gig to remind us of past furry friends

The gnomes who live under the pineapple guavas

A geeky-bird that crows squak at but otherwise stay far away (100+ feet) from

Flamingos nesting in the Babacos (pineapple papayas)

Fairy house in the leptospermums

Good idea about bird baths. I want to make one of those bubbling pot fountains. I think that would be really cool.

Richard--great shots of your yard ornaments. That geeky bird is really funny looking. LOL. Of course, a garden cannot be complete without gnomes!

Here are a couple of my attempts at trying to add some non plants to my place:

Austin... You mentioned a "bubbling fountain"... If you look at the pic below on the front porch, that is a fountain urn that I purchased from HD and built the base to give it the Asian feel that I have out front.

To the left of the porch is a "Japanese" latern with landscape up lights shining on the latern and one on the 25+ year old Japanese Maple at night....

MsKitty,
I aint't too pretty right now!!! With the dormant plants and me tearing up part of the back to extend beds, it's a REAL mess out there... Hope it comes back into shape by mid May.... Thanks for the compliment anyway...
