Default Frustration

I am soooooo frustrated!!!!!!! Here it is time to start placing orders and getting new plants and I can’t order from a couple of places I really wanted to because all they take is PayPal and I can’t do Paypal. I had an account that I had not used for a very long time and they closed and locked it and won’t let me reopen one. It’s bad enough that I developed my lust for tropicals late in the season and had to wait all winter to get some plants. But now I find out that I won’t be able to get most of the EE’s I wanted. At least I can get some of the bananas I wanted. I found a couple of places to order them from.

Sorry about the rant, I just really needed to vent!!

Jane, I can share your feelings, i also don't have pay-pal and I buy a lot
of things on EBAY, mostly in England, but some sellers only except pay-pal.

It is a fact that E-bay is pushing sellers and buyers to use Pay-pal as they
are the owners.

I heard from a seller that it is even forbidden to say on the auction that
cash money is accepted. So I always ask and usually it is not a problem.

Ron

I've found that if you e-mail them & tell them how you want to pay, most companies will work with you.

Jane is there no way to contact PayPal and get them to sort out access for you. I just joined the other day as I needed to send money to Brians Botanics and it worked well, I've used it for eBay since to get some Red Stem Thalia. No problems so far , fingers crossed you get sorted out. Good Luck
Later

Thanks everyone for the responses.

I have found someone with a nice selection of EE’s that does not have a problem with me sending a check. I will be placing my first order with them soon.

Now if we could just warm up and get rid of these waaaaaay below normal temps, I would be much happier!!! Even the little new leaves on the trees got froze this weekend.

I also accept checks, or money orders..it's never been a problem for me. If you want, check out our inventory of banana and other plants.

Best,

Jeff
