I made up this sn when I lived in LA and grew lots of different jasmines. I like moongardens and am always looking to add nightbloomers to the many tropicals that I grow. I have got some perverted questions regarding my sn lol but NO, it wasn't meant in THAT way lol!

Chironex is the genus name of the cubomedusa Chironex fleckeri (sometimes called box jellyfish) or "Sea Wasp". The Sea Wasp has one of the most deadly toxins known to mankind. I studied it in college and did my some of my pre-med post grad work on the properties of this bad boy's sting, along with the Blue-Ringed Octopus and shark behavioral studies with Dr. Samuel Gruber. (That was until the U of Miami figured out that I was working on post-grad studies before baccalaureate completion. So it was pay-up or quit. Since I couldn't afford to pay, I quit
Guess I didn't want to be a doctor that bad.) Oh well, there you have it. |

I am certain that whatever I write here, it will be misconstrued by someone who will say "This chick is crazy, twisted or otherwise freakin nuts..."
Lilith was, for those of you who know your Old Time Religion, the Mother of all Demons. Supposedly Adam's first wife, later the wife of Lucifer after he became a Fallen Angel and was renamed Satan. Lilith is also supposedly the Mother of all Vampires, who are considered demons by some and separate entities by others. So that's all I am going to say about Lilith. You can draw your own conclusions about why Lilith is my screen name. Do I believe I am the mother of a demon? Is my husband the husband from hell? Am I a vampire? Do I know vampires? ![]() Or did I choose the name as a joke? Or because I like the way it sounds? What does this have to do with plants? Only Lilith Fair knows. |

Well, guess I'll chime in here! I used to work fast food for many years at a seafood restaurant called Captain D's (owned by Shoney's and most are in the SE USA) in Middle Tennessee. I bowled a whole bunch back in the early to mid-1990s, and one of the mechanics in the back who I was friends with named me "Bigfish." There was this stupid commercial on TV back then for Long John Silver's, a competitor of Captain D's, and a character known as "Bigfish." So, even though I tried to explain that Bigfish was a Long John's character, he wouldn't have any of it, lol. I was Bigfish ever since. For some reason, when I was picking out my screen name for this forum I went with "bigdog." Probably because of the Big Dog line of clothing (I'm 6'7"), which I love because their shirts fit me so well. Funny because this is the only forum or any online site with the moniker "bigdog." So there it is.
Rmplmnz...We used to get hammered on Rumple Minze and Goldschlager back in the day. Mix in some Jager in there and you had your self some "liquid cocaine" or liquid crack, whatever. Quick way to lose your mind! |

Mine's pretty straightforward. My Dad's parents are from Wisconsin, home of a lot of dairy cows. Not to mention a friend of mine who owns a local beef ranch. Moo's come to be my standard name on any site.
