In the version above Harry describes the bunches in measurements of hands. In all other versions I found on YouTube they were described in measurements of feet. Did he change the words to the song in later years?

Thanks, Cassie, but since it's Harry's song and he sang it differently, I wondered if he changed the lyrics in later years or if that was just for the muppets for some reason. On the other hand, a 7 foot bunch is probably a 40 hand bunch, or something like that. Curious minds need to know!

I tried to look for the answer.. I could find no reference to foot as measurements for counting bananas.. but then.. I did get side tracked on youtube again..
Though the Muppets will remain my favorite one... For your amusement.... Harry Bellefonte music video for the Movie Beetlejuice..
