Cambodian Palm Sugar
Our friend just returned last night from a 3 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia. She brought me some Palm sugar candies that are basically just funky looking sugar cubes. Holly mackerel is this stuff awesome tasting!!!!!
This is not my picture but it looks exactly like what she brought me.
Is it available here in the states?

Re: Cambodian Palm Sugar
Glad you like the the candy from the East! They may not look much but they can sure knock your teeth out. We have different versions of it from the diff countries here. They were the main candy in the past but progress have the kids going for the imported slick packaging stuff. You should try the coconut candy, another super treat!
Tog Tan has sadly suddenly passed away 6/16/09. We will miss you Tog Tan.
