Bananas.org Sociological Experiment
Hello,
My name is Andreas, and for my final English project this year I am analyzing various Internet communities, one of which is Bananas.org. In order to successfully complete this project, I am reaching out to the Bananas.org community. The link below takes you to a Survey that I have put together. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...hiZEE6MQ#gid=0 Results and a complete analysis will be available on our project website in the coming weeks: Home - The Internet Experiment The more data I obtain, the better our results and analysis will become. I feel this will be very interesting to many of the members on this community. Thanks!

Re: Bananas.org Sociological Experiment
I've only gotten one completed survey so far...I just want to remind everyone that I'm going to be graded on this.

Re: Bananas.org Sociological Experiment
It's because its a community that I know well. We are also surveying a community that my partner in this project is very familiar with. I figured that if we were more familiar with the communities we would be able to evaluate them better. Also, if we just signed up and posted this survey, people would think its just spam.

Re: Bananas.org Sociological Experiment
Thanks everyone! And of course, the bananas came first. This was just assigned a few weeks ago.

Re: Bananas.org Sociological Experiment
It seems like a bit of an unusual assignment for an English class. Seems like something I would have done in a college psychology course. Are we going to see the results?

Re: Bananas.org Sociological Experiment
It's unusual because we were allowed to decide what we were going to do for the project. The theme of the project that we were supposed to work around was "Communities: Supportive or Stifling?" Out of all of the ideas for a project that me and my partner came up with, this one was the clear winner. And yes, within a few weeks the results will be posted here:
