in case anyone was wondering, the forum went down some time this past Sunday after noon or night and came back up about mid-day today. ... I hope no one trashed their computer or mashed it with a nana pstem.

As soon as I noticed I did what mediahound said to do... I PM'd him on the facebook page. He said it was the fastest way to contact him if the site was down.

Down again between 4am & 6am this morning; back up in the last 1 1/2 hrs.

Thanks all, site is now back up. Server was acting up but hopefully resolved now.

Thanks ... I think I found your FaceBook page. I saw the forum was down Sunday afternoon, but didn't pay much attention to at the time. It was Monday afternoon when i realized it was offline.

I couldn't load the site this morning.

Looks like problems started about 5 pm ET yesterday. This morning I did bring up the forum homepage but could not open any other page. The server seemed to have been under a heavy network load ( DOS attack ???) or experiencing some software difficulty. ... Traceroutes were intermittent getting though the last 1 or 2 hops to the server. ... I saw the server back up and working about 11 am ET today.

Went down about 9:40 TO 10 AM ET yesterday and came back about 7:30 am this morning.

Its happened to me so many times I thought it was my system. Never have trouble with the Tropical Fruit f\Forum or any one else.

It is a problem with that server or the hosting network (overloaded network or DOS attack ???). The Domain and system will answer a ping, but can not feed out html request.


A couple of weeks ago the org's page would load up, but took almost 40 minutes to do so.
